2022 #PBCritiqueFest is Here!

Spooky season means it’s time for some fun KidLit contests and opportunities—like my favorite, #PBCritiqueFest! I might be biased because I was fortunate enough to win a critique last year (!!!), but this is such a fun way to try your luck and engage with the KidLit community. From now until the end of October, you can enter to win raffled-off picture book critiques from authors, illustrators, and literary agents. Winners are selected randomly, but there are plenty of ways to increase your chances. Learn more about it, then register here.

#PBCritiqueFest is the brainchild of Brian Gehrlein. Brian’s the author of the hilarious picture book, The Book of Rules, and he runs the Picture Book Spotlight blog. It’s a great resource for KidLit writers at every level, as it’s packed with interviews featuring all your favorite PB authors, illustrators, agents, and industry champions.
